About ICNC

The Industrial Council of Nearwest Chicago (ICNC) fuels economic growth in the Kinzie Industrial Corridor by supporting West Side businesses and residents. Through its incubators, Make City and The Hatchery, ICNC provides affordable space, resources, and an entrepreneurial community to help businesses thrive.

Make City, one of the nation’s largest manufacturing incubators, and The Hatchery, a nonprofit food and beverage incubator, empower local entrepreneurs with tools to grow their ventures. ICNC also offers business advising and workforce solutions like Impact Culinary Training, a free program for West Side youth.

Advocacy is at ICNC’s core, championing local businesses in Chicago’s Planned Manufacturing Districts to ensure policies support sustainable development.
